Assam Schools, Colleges to reopen from September first week

Assam Schools, Colleges reopening decision has been taken by the State Government. As per the CM’s Tweet, Class 12, final year UG and PG students would be able to attend offline classes from September 1st week.

Assam Schools, Colleges would reopen in September first week. Assam State Government has decided to resume offline classes for Class 12, final year UG and PG students. However, the date of resumption of schools and colleges is yet to be announced. The government would issue the detailed COVID 19 guidelines on or before August 31, 2021.

Assam School, College Reopening decision was taken in a cabinet meeting chaired by the chief minister on Thursday, August 26, 2021. Soon after the meeting, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced the cabinet’s decision on social media along with several other key initiatives

Assam and several other states in India have decided to reopen colleges and schools phase-wise from September 1, 2021. In Assam, final year UG and PG students will have to produce at least a first dose vaccination certificate to attend offline classes. To stay in the hostel, the certificate of both doses is compulsory
